Parking lot parties at sporting events have become a huge phenomenon in recent years. The new trend in tailgating grills is the trailer hitch mounted portable tailgate style grill. It is basically a gas grill that mounts on the back of your vehicle via your trailer hitch. They typically have a swing out bar that moves the grill out and away from your SUV or truck. This style is becoming the standard in what is a growing market of portable grills.
There are portable grills that are upwards of ten thousand dollars. These grills are trailered behind your vehicle and include multiple burners, storage drawers, multiple propane tanks, cold storage for meats and beverages and some even come with built in CD players. These grills suprisingly are becoming more and more popular with the tailgating crowd. It's not unusual to see several at any major sporting event parking party. Reserved for the hardcore tailgater these grills are the cream of the crop as they say in the world of portable grills.
